And we're excited to have joined the Responsible Sports movement to compete in the Responsible Sports Community Grant program. It's a great way to earn a $2,500 grant while demonstrating our organization's commitment to Responsible Coaching and Responsible Sport Parenting. MSYH hockey family, friends, and Relatives,

MSYH has applied for a grant from Nike to support our kids (providing equipment) and money (rink maintenance). As part of this Grant process, Nike is asking for VOTES to help determine who they provide funds. We need your cooperation to access the link below and vote for MSYH for this GRANT. Fundraising Opportunity

With the year ahead and Tim Knox buying the rink, we will need additional funds to operate the ice rink and operational aspects of the Renegades. Currently we have a fundraising opportunity to buy and sell raffle tickets for an annual raffle in November 2009, which will take place during the annual Chili Cook off and open house. Our goal is not to increase annual players fees, yet to raise the additional funds needed through donations, grants and funds raised through volunteer fundraising.

Currently the raffle ticket sales are our current fundraiser and the Grand Prize is an autographed Mario Lemieux Jersey and numerous

additional prizes from Hotel Stays, Dinners and Lunch certificates,

discounts on various home, automobile and spa services, Cigar Club Memberships, as well as power skating classes, certificates to players bench, and credit toward summer camp at Camp TK next

summer.

If you are interested in purchasing a ticket for $10.00 each, or if you desire to assist in selling tickets for the Mountain States Renegades or if you desire to assist on our fundraising committee please contact

We need every one to help in the year ahead in order to keep the

Renegades Moving Forward and Players on the ice.
